Appreciate your comment Kade! I would agree the total transformation of our cityscapes will probably take 10 years. Because the built form changes so slowly.
But in terms of our cities beginning to change in terms of planning for new buildings and large scale mixed-use projects people are planning for those changes now.
Tesla just yesterday announced they are starting robotaxi service (no-driver) in Austin. Waymo is already doing it in multiple cities and they announced yesterday they are starting in DC in 2026.
I'm excited to see how our cities will transform! Hopefully it will be less automobile dominated, a bit more of nature, and more pedestrian friendly.

It excites me too! I think it could be a huge win for the average person not to be burdened by car ownership. It’s also a win for the environment!
